![]() ![]() I've never installed the webman or sman, I've always just liked the plain multiman. select character.hit start and both games go to black screen? So I have no idea. I then go back and navigate to the PS2 ISO & Classic Launcer.and start the game (instead of the disc icon). (And I also manually moved the properly named.CONFIG to the internal PS2ISO folder.). isos on the internal once loaded from multiman. Is just a matter of placing the ISO in his foder and thats all, the config for the game are loaded automatically or from a standalone backup manager (with mamba integrated) I think is better to load the ISO straight. the only advantage i see is you have the icon in main XMB (but i dont care about this personally) the "ps2 classics") i consider it an obsolette method, for a time was ok because it was the only way to boot ps2 iso but it has several problems, it needs that "activation license" and you need to build the pkg. the game should work for you, it should not crash at the character selection so i guess you are having other kind of problemĪbout loading PS2 games with the PKG format (a.k.a. i dont remember anyone reporting about them With the hand made configs posted initially (that was very rough but successfull) that texture problem was solved, but the game still had 2 or 3 small problems i dont rememberĪnd after that it was extracted the configs from the other official emulators. Without config the games had a big texture problem in the floor and walls and everywhere, the game was playable though (it did not crash, was just something visual) This should improve compatibility and make for a more up-to date and versatile media player for all supported platforms including the PS3.Īlso, deank has made a quick stop in the forum's, then to see a reported issue and provided a fix ( seen here) that is now present in v7.0.2Ĭlick to expand.I just wrote an small resume about that baldurs gate scene adventures here Īll the configs posted for that games should make the game work One of the biggest changes you will see within Movian-M7 compared to older version, is the change from the older (abandoned) "libav" video decoders/parsers to the current "ffmpeg" that was just replaced in the recent M7 update. Since that time, we have not seen the official project do much in recent years (currently home site is down as of writing), but developer deank has been keeping the project alive and evolving (see changelogs over at brewology for all archived changes). The media center originally was named "Showtime" on the PS3 but later renamed to "Movian" by the original developer Andreas Oman years ago. ![]() Developer who has been continuing development of the (modded version) of the original media center that started on the PS3 (now runs on Android, Amazon Fire Stick, MacOS ,Windown ,Linux & Raspberry pi). ![]()
